The client is 7.2.6001.788 on my system, it has been above 7 for a few years.
Have you just started using WSUS if so why WSUS 2? It is being retired on
1/April/09 and no more updates will be release for WSUS 2 after then.

The only conceivable reason for using WSUS 2 is not having any W2003 servers.

As to your question it is a bit short on information but it sounds like the
clients have not reported in yet, how long did you wait.

Hello,

I tried to install the new Windows XP Service Pac 3 last night. I have an
HP 3500 Athlon (AMD) processer. The install killed my system. Now, I'm not
able to use the Windows XP System Recovery Wizard. It will not go back to an
earlier date so I can recover my settings and documents, etc.

Anybody have a solution? Ideas? The System Recovery calendar shows the
earlier dates, but it will only work with a post-crash date, such as today.

Appreciate any help!!

To avoid confusion, please start your own thread instead of replying to an
unrelated one. Thank you.

Harry.
