I went to control panel add/remove programs removed net framwork 2.0 only,
left 1 alone, restarted, then went to micosoft downloads and downloaded
redistributable net framework 2.0 file (x86 one), restarted, then went to
updates to manually update and it worked. I restarted again after the update
and everything was fine.
