.Net Fraamework v1.1 after SP2

I have updated Win XP with SP2. Windows update now tells
me there is a high priority update for .net Framework 1.1
service pack 1. I have downloaded this update but the
install always fails. Is this a Microsoft mistake ? Maybe
it is already included in SP2. If it is, why does update
list it as a high priority update ??
