.NET Framewok 3.5 Service Pack 1 , Family Update x86

Hi, I´ve been trying to install this update, the download was OK, but when
trying the install itself, it wasn´t completed, and an error occured -
code 641. I tried it three times, but it was unsuccessful everytime. What
is the problem? Thanks for an answer.

Usually you should be asking that question before retrying it "three times". ; )

Hi Farshid . . . I had the same difficulty with .NET Framework 3.5 Service
Pack 1, Family Update x86
And eventually found the MS Article ID : 934648 (goto
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934648/) . . .

It told me that there would be a glitch if my Background Intelligent
Transfer Service (BITS) was stopped and that I should reset it as follows:

“To resolve this problem, restart the BITS service. To do this, follow these
steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
2. In the list of services, double-click Background Intelligent Transfer
Service.
3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Start.
4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
5. Restart the computer.�

It worked a treat for me!
