.Net Framework 1.1 SP1 won't install at all

For some reason i tried doing what the article for installation asked but it
still wont' do it. When ever i try to Uninstall the program as it says, a
pop up would appear with "another application is installing it" but nothing
else is being installed at the time. This is so frustrating... my Updates
won't UPDATE please help. I'm so computer illitarate.

TaurArian - Thank you for the help...but i already did that but the
application won't download (Redistributable Package). I don't know what else
to do...

Hi Jae, is there any specific error codes in the log


Open Internet Explorer and either type or copy and then paste this into the Address
bar:
for V5 type: %windir%\windowsupdate.log

for V4 type: %windir%\windows update.log


Scroll down towards the bottom for the latest entries to locate the error code(s)
associated with the latest failed attempt to download/install.

If there is any error codes etc copy and paste into this thread, maybe someone can
assist further.
