.NET Framework 3.5 deployment through WSUS?

hello,

I've googled and searched the newsgroups for info on deploying the 3.5 .Net
Framework via WSUS and all I've been able to find is old posts and articles
asking if it will be published in WSUS.

I've set my WSUS server to sync just about every update and still can't find
3.5 in the list of available updates.

I'd prefer not to do the install via GPO if at all possible.

Is there a way that I'm missing to install 3.5 via WSUS?
