NET Framework 3.5 is taking 2 days+ to dl

Here in rural MT i have dialup. High Priority Update shows this NET
Framerwork 3.5 to be downloaded and installed. I note i have others in my
Control Panel, yet this one is ridiculously long. It says 1 min, well i have
had it on for 2 days and only halfway. What is the problem??
