.Net Framework downloads

Mornin' All,
Windows Update site lists 2 .Net Framework downloads - 2 & 3 - one is 20+mb
and the other is 50+mb. Trying to download those with a dialup connection
will take days. Does anyone know if those two kb's are available on disk,
either from MS or another vendor ?
Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

Are these "Optional Updates"?
Do you have applications that require .NET

Check your hard drive at this location:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework
What sub folders/version numbers do you see listed?
