I am trying to run the repair command for the .net framework update 1.1. I
haven't been able to install it - I keep getting the error message about the
JIT debugger. I downloaded the update and saved it to disk. Then when I put
in the command at the prompt, it keeps telling me that it is not recognized
as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Obviously I am not putting in the correct path; what am I missing? I have
Win XP home edition and have installed the SP2. When I look at the
Add/Remove programs , .net framework 1.1 is there also. This is what I get
when i run cmd:
C:\Documents and Settings\edward\>
so I type in this:
C:\dotnetfx.exe /t:%temp% /c:"msiexec.exe /fvecms %temp%\netfx.msi"
This is where i'm told that the command isn't recognized. I tried it
without spaces also, but then it says the system cannot find the path
specified. I AM SO FRUSTRATED!! Any suggestions? Thanks.
