Net Framework - Service Pack 3

How can I get help for net framework sp3 when my OEM has never heard of it?
Strange things are going on with my PC since downloading. I can't get the
Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to work as well.

You shouldn't have done that. Dot net famework 1.0 is toxic. Nobody
used it. Dot net 1.1 replaced that. I dont' know what would happen if
you installed the service pack 3 for 1.0 on top of dotnet framework
1.1, but it would be something unpleasant, if it even worked.

..NET Framework 3 is installed in Vista, that's why the OP attempted to
update it.

Strongly suggest you post to the Vista newsgroup as it is a BETA product
and NOT supported here ... yet
