netscape 7.2

I can download netscape 7.2 but it will not run. I'm operating on windows 98
and recently had problems and had to run recovery disc. Was using netscape
7.1 before that. Now 7.2 will download but I can not run it. Suggestions

That's usually a profile-related problem - dig around in your
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\ directory for the profile and rename it.
Or run Netscape's profile Manager and create a new one.

You might like to try Mozilla Firefox as a browser-only solution.
Whatever the cause, it's not a Windows update issue. You might want to
search the forums and knowledgebase on www.mozillazine.org (Netscape 7.2
being based on Mozilla 1.7).
