"The network bios session limit was exceeded"

I have a network disk which works just fine if I use Windows XP Pro SP2, but
when I, after a while, have accessed it from Windows Vista Ultimate it gives
me the error

"\\mydrive

The network bios session limit was exceeded"

Why does this happen and how can I make this problem go away without having
to reboot my PC?

What "network disk"? Do you mean an NAS? If yes, please check with the
NAS mftr. for updated firmware.
