Hi all, i'm using an asus notebook

all my network connections stopped working after XP sp3 was installed. the
connections are still there i just cant get access to the network or internet.
I can ping the router through which i get internet access but cant access
the internet or ping other pcs on the network (requests always time out).

my ipconfig looks like this:
Connection Specific DNS suffix :
IPAdress: 10.0.0.7
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 10.0.0.2

if anyone has dealt with something similair pls let me know what other info
would be helpfull.
Thanks

Did you do a clean install prior to installing WinXP SP3?

======================

Device Manager and Network Connections may be blank after you install
Windows XP Service Pack 3
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953791

Device Manager may not show any devices and Network Connections may not show
any network connections after you install Windows XP Service Pack 3
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953979

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3), until 14 Apr-09. Chat and
e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada.
