Try the following. Hope it works.
Solution1:
When your computer boots up, keep tapping F8 key.
Windows will show you advanced boot options:
1.) Start Windows in Safe Mode
2.) Start Windows Normally
..
..
..
3.) Start Windows with the last known good configuration
Select the option "Start Windows with last known good configuration"
and try using Windows and see if it can detect your network card.
Solution2:
What ethernet card do you have? Name? Model?
