my problem is similar to other - Vista.

my laptop works fine at work (gets an ip address, gets on the internet and
all.)

when i bring my laptop home, no internet. from cmd, ipconfig shows some
settings from work, and other settings from ???. in order to reslove the
issue at home, i have created a small batch file that i have to run as
administrator (ipconfig... /release /flushdns / registerdns /renew) and it
works at home. i do not want keep running this everytime, how can i set up
the network settings to work at home without doing this.

everywhere else i use my laptop it's fine - just at home, it's a pain.

thanx,

jat

You might consider a second ID for home use. The old profile data can be
copied.
