      02-10-2010
after having to replace the motherboard and cpu and reinstall windows, I seem
to have lost the network icon in the systray. how do I get it back?

Your question would be better posted in a general forum for whatever OS you
have, but you probably need to tell Windows to display it. The exact method
is dependent upon the OS you have (which you did tell). In XP, it is found
in the properties for the connection, in Vista, it is in the Properties for
the Task Bar and Start Menu (Notification Area tab).

As told by others that it's not a Media Center related question. Moreover
you haven't mentioned what OS you are using. If it's XP then here is the
