after recent updates, error message "network is not accessible" pops up in
windows explorer.
manual serching for computers works, adding a network place manually also
works.
1 computer is not updated yet, and it still shows all networked computers in
explorer under the Microsoft Windows Network.
This is true ,even if Firewall is disabeled.
Internet works fine.

I had the same problem. I installed Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and when it
rebooted, I couldn't access the internet. Network and Sharing center reported
that i was connected, but I couldn't access any websites. I had to use a dial
up connection that I have just in case. I did a system restore and everything
is fine. I know I need the sp2, but does anyone know what is causing the
problem? I don't want to reinstall it and have the same problem again.
Thanks
