Yes its compatible. Used the cd and the software from HP site always get to
a point of detection and then it says file is unreadable and corrupt. Of
course HP won't help because it is out of warranty and they were never any
help when it was unde warranty so why would I purchase their "help". I use
their speak to a tech on chat and after 12 hrs and 6 different reps the last
one told me I had to re-install the OS which I thought I did using the
recovery disks but according to him that isn't sufficient!
