I am having problems setting up a new TCP/IP network printer. When I try to
set the propertires the system is unable to find missing file (Mrb.dll??) and
system hangs... forever... until I use task manager to end the program. After
I do that, error report runs, sends, but then none of my TCP/IP network
printers work. I tried to run recovery console, but I don't have the
experiance to use it for it's intended use. However, I did run chkdsk, and it
reported 2 errors.. no description... I then consindered runnig Windows XP
Pro setup to try repairing the damaged/missing files, but... which version
would I use, XP Pro, or XP Pro with SP2?? Inserting XP Pro w/SP2 recomands
using it as an upgrade... I can't afford to be without my pc for more then a
day... so, any suggestions?
p.s. My PC is also the primary Anti-virus /Quarantine/ update server as well
as internal web/proxy server and system restore won't work.
Thanks, John
