New Command-Line Switch for Live Messenger

I'd like there is a new command-line switch for the Live Messenger program
(msnmsgr.exe) to start Messenger directly into a particular status by

command-line. For example, it could be added the switch /status, followed by
the ":" symbol to specify the status:

msnmsgr.exe /status:Online
msnmsgr.exe /status:Busy
msnmsgr.exe /status:BeRightBack
msnmsgr.exe /status:Away
msnmsgr.exe /status:InACall
msnmsgr.exe /status:OutToLunch
msnmsgr.exe /status:AppearOffline

Best regards

Greetings,

I wouldn't necessarily implement it that way, but I like the idea

That's a great idea. But would it also be possible to change the status with
this parameters while messenger is already running? That's a feature I would
search. So you could create shortcuts on the taskbar to change your status
quickly.

Most of us have two MSN accounts (for example one for work, one private). How
i can fast switch between acounts or start messenger with account depended on
situation? One more opinion for next command line switch?

Greetings,

No magic switch for that. But you can start multiple Messenger versions (and sign into
different accounts on each) by downloading and running this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...einstances.reg

After it's imported, you can just start another Messenger instance by running it again.
