New Computer, Login and Password Problem

Hi we've just got a new computer loaded with Vista, on startup set the
name and password, confirmed password, put when it came time to enter
it, the password has been rejected. Haven't even got into the computer
yet! Can anyone help. The password is correct I am sure.:cry:

I'd appreciate any help.

Did you check the Caps lock/Num lock on the keyboard?
Passwords are also case sensitive. Are you absolutely sure you're using the
right case?
If you have numbers in your password and you typed them on numeric pad,
perhaps num lock was not on and you lost your numbers.
