Hi all,

I have a web server running on an Internet domain myfirstdomain.com. This
server is Windows server 2003 and is named pdc. This same server acts as the
Windows Domain Controller of the Active Directory domain named the same
myfirstdomain.com. The Active Directory enabled DNS server is located in the
same server. I have a CNAME field in the DNS pointing www to
pdc.myfirstdomain.com. Everything is running OK.
But now the company bought an additional domain name myseconddomain.com. My
boss wants to access the same web server under the name
www.myseconddomain.com. The
What should I do?

I tryed to create a new zone in the Active Directory enabled DNS. I could
get the DNS server to resolve myseconddomain.com. Then I added a host www to
myseconddomain.com zone, I can not resolve www.myseconddomain.com.

What is wrong?

Any hint is welcomed
Thanks in advance
Sammy

I already found the problem. This second zone is working ok. The problem is
I have a second DNS server. I was making the tests in pdc.myfirstdomain.com
which primary DNS server is the other DNS server. I should recreate by hand
this new myseconddomain.com DNS domain in the other DNS server if they do
not synch automatically
