Hi all, I just put a new DVD-R in my PC. I had to re-activate Office2003(?),
and when I try to Windows update for any new drivers, I get directed to
install KB892130. It fails because I installed it LONG ago. Reboots are no
help, and there is no option to uninstall it in add/remove programs so I can
start clean. I'm an admin, no viruses or spywares, etc, etc. Can anybody help
me out here please? Thanks, Mike

The WGA has been updated since you last installed it. Click here:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

Run the diagnostic tool and then revisit Windows Updates.
STRONGLY advise you to seek driver updates from the manufacturer of the
hardware, not Windows Update, Mike.

Thanks. That tool did the trick. The drive came with no drivers, it just
snagged the native Windows ATAPI ones. I just wated to make sure they were
the latest. I'll hit the manufacturer's website just to be on the safe side.

You're welcome, Mike. Maybe the manufacturer's drivers should be
included with the product ?
