New Gadget's won't install

I seem to have been able to install a calculator gadget from the microsfot
site, but all toher from now on just won't install.

I click install and it seems to quickly download and then nothing happens.

i've already checked to see if the file type is associated correctly and it is

Please any help would be great??

There is one in vista itself.

Start>Programs>Accessories>Calculator

I have the same problem. the gadget installed fine on my wife's laptop (both
running vista home premium) . on mine it opens the gadgets window but it
never adds it.
