Been using the older version of MSN for months, really AGES, with no
problems. No other problems with PC.

Upgrade to the new version. Crashes after about 10 mins. How can they
expect to keep their customers when they make such basic failings.

Greetings Mike,

Just wondering -- has the crash been consistent (in other words, has it happened again)?

Also is it Messenger crashing or the Windows Live Communications Platform crash?

Hi

Has continued happening albeit a little less frequently. Bit hit or miss
now TBH. Has not crashed today.

I hit the "Send Error Report" link but figure M$ are just getting too many
of these to even bother processing them.

Cheers

Mike

Hi Mike,

Even if it doesn't appear to do much, when you send the error reports to Microsoft (any
product), it the crash is already in the system, it will simply increase the crash count in
their database. As they deal with crashes on a "most crashed" basis, the more you submit,
the more chance you have of that particular problem being fixed [sooner].

Also, not that it helps but I have heard that the number of crashes since the original
versions of 2009 have gone down.
