The new microsoft update

Windows update, The website from microsoft that allows you to update your
system with the latest software and securty updates has been around for
about 6-8 years. Well with the 6th verson of the update software "Windows
Update" is changeing its name to "microsoft Update"

with microsoft update you can get updates for all microsoft products ( not
just windows! such as microsoft hardware updates, office, home productiy
software and more! and of corse those securty updates) , The UI in microsoft
update has ben updated some of the scemes of the next windows OS. now i
dont know why microsoft didnt just have microsot update start with verson 1.0
instead of going to 6.0. here is the site www.update.microsoft.com have a

In your post (statement) you gave a web page link. That web page link is
incorrect, wrong, inaccurate.

You gave: http://www.update.microsoft.com/
That should be: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Also, since Microsoft Update is the continuation of Windows Update - the
last version of Windows Update released was 5.0.. so the next logical
revision is 6.0.. It can always be gotten to in Internet Explorer by
selecting (from the top set of menus in Internet Explorer) "Tools" -->
"Windows Update" (they may change that to say "Microsoft Update" in the near
future - but until then, you can still get to it - all the same.)
