NEW REALTEC AUDIO DRIVERS

Can anybody help me please,I installed the new drivers on my machine like a
fool only to find that i dont need them,I have tried to unistall them in
devivce manager but every time I do refresh they are still there with the
exclemation mark , i deleted the reg entry in the registry ,but every time
i restart the machine i get a message come up that windows is trying to
install the drivers,How do i stop windows searching for the drivers
I have vista home pemium

The installation of the Vista Realtek High Definition Audio driver is a
little different than most driver installations. The first time you run the
installer, it removes the Realtek driver, and you have to restart your
computer. In the meantime, upon reboot, Windows will try to install it's
generic driver; just let Windows do it's thing (It may fail or "succeed", it
doesn't really matter. Should it "succeed", the generic driver won't
work). You then have to run the Realtek installer one more time, and reboot
one more time. Then the new driver will be installed. I'm not sure why
this has become a two-step process. It wasn't always this way with the
Vista version of the Realtek installer.

Like I said, Windows will try to find drivers upon reboot after running the
Realtek installer the first time; the first time only un-installs the old
Realtek driver. Don't try to stop the Windows New Hardware found wizard.
Once the wizard stops, just run the Realtek installer one more time.

Then you need to go into your computer's BIOS and disable the onboard Realtek
audio adapter.
