new software update for zune 3.0

I have a gateway amd 64 with windows xp sp3, with everything updated. I
downloaded the new 3.0 update for zune and now everytime i click on the icon
I get "must restart computer after setup" I have resarted several times to no
avail. I also went to program files to open from there to no avail. I have
removed it from my computer and re downloaded and still the same problem. I
am at my wits end, please help

I have the same setup with an HP computer and the exact problem. This
pr4oblem started with the update from 2.. to 3.0.
I have uninstalled twice and reinstalled 3.0. Same error occurs.
The Zune device works fine, but cant be syncd , accessed through shortcut
or root directories. Help needed!
