new sp2 machine

I have just installed windows xp home service pack 2 on a machine, but
have not yet connected it to the internet. I have already installed
zonealarm suite, is this enough to protect me while I update my
machine, or should I do anything extra? Thanks!

As long as you have the firewall on then you should be okay.
Even better if you have your anti virus on also.

Make sure Zonealarm is also up to date.

I usually make sure my protection is up to date first then install the updates.
