Hi

Just a question:
Is is possible to edit the original status message (like "busy")? So to set
a status like "firm", "at home" etc?

I do not mean the description, only the 7 (want to take 1 or 2 more) of the
right mouse klick

many greetings
Lutz Rahe

P.S.. It´s for our teamboss to see, who´s in the firm, and who´s outside
online

You can if you get Messenger Plus! Live, it's a free add on for WML. I
can't do links but you should find it if you do a search

Hi,

Just to add, you're not really "adding" a status via Plus, you're just adding to your display
name. To non-Plus users, it just appears that you have it in your name as opposed to its own
status. In order to really add new statuses, there would have to be some major protocol
changes.

Although used for other things, this is what the personal status message (PSM) was designed
for. You set yourself as Busy/Away/Online and then set your reason for that status as your
PSM.

The PSM Option, I know
But for arriving, leaving firm in a frequnt order, it´s a little more time,
to edit eveerytime the PSM.
It´s not possible to do this in one klick matter.
Or is there any way to do this?

Greetings
Lutz

Hi Lutz,

Well if you keep the Messenger contact list up, you can simply click your PSM under your name
display, type your PSM and hit enter.

Another options, again using Messenger Plus Live as previously mentioned, is that it's "away"
dialog when you set yourself away also allows you to set a personal message there.
Additionally, you can type /psm <a message here> in a conversation window with Plus installed
to set it.
