After a successful install of XP SP2 and no problems detected so far, I have
a new networking icon that appears next to my clock. It is similar to the one
that was already there. I am using SBC DSL with my own Pro 1000 card. The new
icon will toggle as though there is a connection for a few minutes and then a
yellow exclamation mark appears. However, at this stage my DSL connection is
still OK and is also indicated by the original icon. If I disable the new
icon, the good connection is lost. What do I need to do to correct what is
obviously a minor problem? One other note, when I change to "always hidden",
it will stay hidden until I reboot and then reappear. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
