Warning, Toshiba service sucks. I got office depot to take back the Toshiba
Satellite 205D I had for about a month and give me an HP instead. I had a
lemon and Toshiba refused to overnight me a replacement computer or do
anything helpful. I'm still waiting for a call back from a service manager
btw - have had the HP now for 3 months. The Toshiba gave me BSOD every hour
or more, locked up repeatedly, and did the exact same thing after a trip to
their authorized service center when it was supposedly "fixed" with a new
hard drive and new Ram. They offered to repair it at Toshiba's own service
center - though refused to overnight it back to me or give me any idea of
how long it would be gone. Really bad if you want a computer for business
use as I did! I will never buy anything Toshiba again.
Skip the lower level service tech and talk to a service manager as early as
you can.
