New version of Microsoft Update not working through proxy....

Seems that the new version of Microsoft Update is not working when trying to
go through a proxy. Any fix for this?

I was having a problem as well, and got it to work by turning off my firewall
(Kerio) for the time of downloading and installing. Might be something to try.

I have trouble with both Microsoft update v6, windows update v6 and v5. The
program I use AnologX Proxy. It use to work with v4.

use the command proxycfg.exe, it will set the proxy for the WinHTTP
Service (required for the "new" windowsupdate)

proxycfg.exe -? will show you the options...
