New version Windows media player (Media10)

Firstly i wanted to log this as a question but the system wouldn't let me!!
My problem.
I just downloaded a new version of Windows media player (version 10). Now on
trying to access it all I get is a pop up box that says i've to log off and
log on again as an administrator or a member of the admin istrators group.
This is my personal Pc i'm the only user, but it dosn't recognise me ! Help
i can't get any access to the media player at all?

Well 10 came with my XP system two weeks ago. When I try to download a music
file of .wma or did I put that right? Anyway, I get a message error box
stating I have to fill out a webpage?
