I am not aware that any Windows OS came with MS Outlook. If you are
referring to MS Outlook Express, which is a completely different product,
only related to MS Outlook by being an MS product, and having "Outlook" in
the name (sort like "grape" and "grapegruit" are both fruit), that was
bundled with MS Internet Explorer, through version 6, and not available for
Windows versions past XP.

Boy, you really love those unofficial, ambiguous "shortcuts"! Live? What is
that? There is the "Windows Live Essentials" suite of applications. There is
"Windows Live Hotmail". You need to learn to be specific, as in, "Windows
Live Mail". If that is what you are using.

That is definitely a feature of Windows Live Mail. (If you must, "WLMail" is
a common abbreviation that retains the disambiguity of the full name.)

I am not sure what "all mail" is. I have a "Quick views" folder, and I have
a set of GMail folders; but I have no "all mail".
For my Gmail account, in "Account properties", on the "IMAP" tab, I have
configured "Folders" as follows:
Root folder path: [Gmail]
[X] Check for new messages in all folders
And "Special Folders" as:
Special Folders
[X] Store special folders on IMAP server
Sent Items path: Sent Mail
Drafts path: Drafts
Deleted items path: Trash
Junk path: Spam
That seems to work.
