new windows update program

trying to install the new windows update program, get as far as install page
click on and then I am supposed to see the active x control permission to
drop down under address bar but it does not.Running no betas, home edition
sp2, IE6

Please, go to internet options (IE) and resotre all internet options to
default.
Test it!

sorry it did not work, thanks for the reply-I am beginning to think that
there is something the matter with the page they are putting out-try it-my
active x is working everywhere else it should-
