New Windows Update Question

I've found v7.4.7600.226 wuauclt.exe in C:\Windows\System32 (the latest
version of WU as I understand it. How it got installed, I am not sure, as I
have no record of it in my history.

However, I ALSO have v.5.8.0.2694 wuauclt.exe in C:\Windows\System32 -
should that be there too? Should I have two versions of WU installed?

Correction -that should read: I also have v5.8.0.2694 wuauclt1.exe in
C:\Windows\System32
