New WLM Crashing on Start

I am really confused: Am I the only one who is expecting this problem?
The new WLM crashes right after starting.
I only get to see the (strange new) tray icon for a few seconds and right
after this (before a window even appears) WLm crashes with the usual
"doesn't work anylonger" Windows error reporting message.

Background information:
Previous WLM version: 9 beta
I uninstalled it before because the new WLinstaller always failed for
messenger before I uninstalled it over the control panel.
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate (x64) with Service Pack 1
(It might be another 64-bit bug... On 64-bit windows nothing really works
normally...)

By the way: The new WLMD did not work eighter. But at least I got some error
messagebox there...

So I uninstalled the new WLM again and reinstalled the good old WLM 9 beta.


Any comments about this issue? Possible reasons? Other people expecting the
same problem?

Not that this helps, but I haven't had any of these problems on my 64-bit install (although
didn't install Mail there).
