The new messenger is wonderful... however i did notice a few bugs.
the most annoying was the bug with the scene color. you can set a default
color but everytime you open a new conversation window, it goes back to the
icky light blue while displaying your custom color as the default. you then
have to manually change the color. And repeat for each contact. considering i
change the color every 2-3 weeks this is going to be a major deal breaker cuz
i really dont want to have to manually change it 50-75 times twice a month.
hopefully you guys will have it fixed by the next release

I have been using test versions of messenger as well as final versions and
as long as I can remember this has been an issue that never seems to get
fixed....maybe they will get it right this time

The main scene selection window has a small message describing that people
who message you will see the scene that you have setup in their contact
window to you. Which, I'm guessing, means that for people who are not on the
Beta yet, it automatically defaults to the main scene.

It would be great if we could have an option to "always use my scene
settings" when opening conversation windows with people!

Thank you for trying out the Beta!

Thanks for your question. The color showing as blue likely isn't a bug, but
a new feature of Messenger. The title bar color and the area showing the
information about the person you are talking to are set by the person you
are having a conversation with. The idea being this is to show you what they
have selected for personal expression. Within their conversation window with
you, they are seeing the color and scene you have set. The reason you are
seeing blue, is likely because they haven't changed their color or set a
scene yet.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have more questions. Thank you
again for trying out the Beta!
