Newest version of WLM not working with Windows Vista

I had WLM beta version on old computer with XP, now with new computer running
Vista Basic, I seem to have lost all my tabs (except contacts), I cannot
share files, or any other neat things that were available to me before.
Also, I keep getting pop up telling me I need a newer version of Adobe Flash
player, even though I have updated to newest version. Any ideas? With these
limited abilities, I don't have much use for WLM (I don't know if I'm even
able to send IM's as no one has answered any.) Help please!

The only reliable solution for now is to down-grade to Windows Live
Messenger 8.0.
