I have Vista Home Premium for about 3 months and basically I am happy with
it although I do find it a little bit slow.

I am a member of a photography news group and until yesterday I had no
problems with posting. Today I tried for the first time in about 2 weeks to
post a photograph. Windows Mail responded that I was trying to post in HTML
and this was was not a good idea because many news groups do not allow HTML
postings. The post did not appear in the news group. I will not give the
exact text because I use the Dutch version of Vista. A post yesterday
without a photo worked without any problem.

My settings in Windows Mail/Extra/Options/Extra/News Groups/Send are "Plain
Text" and "Uuencoded" Anyone any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Jim

Some newsgroups neither allow HTML nor photos, i.e. those messages will
simply be cancelled.
Find out what the newsgroup's policies are.

Short of using Notepad, is there any way to edit VCF files?
