Hello
I just started to use WLM to read this NG, I was wondering if I can get more
than just today in my newsreader mailbox? As of now I can only see 11/12
post.. Any ideas?

do 2 things below:

1ST>>> press ALT, so the menu will appear,
go to TOOLS> OPTIONS and then to the READ TAB

change the number of Get XXX headers at a time from 300 to 1000 that is the
maximum

press ok

2nd>>> see ifyou have a HEADERS icon on the toobar, if you do press it.
if you dont add it by right clicking on the toolbar > customize, then add
the headers button
and press it

when you press it more headers will download, 1000 each time as long as you
did step 1st.

Open Windows Mail.
Tools/Options
Click "Read" tab.
Uncheck "Get xxx headers at a time"
Click OK.
You will get them all the first time whether there are 1, 1,000 10,000
etc.

Further questions should be directed to:
microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
newsgroup.

No! This is another of you're stupid, misleading statements.
Stop making them...if you can.
The correct statement would be:...if you have sufficient bandwidth.
You're a real fukkin as*hole capin' crunch and you are downright dumb!
Idiot!

Not really an issue.
Do it once and be done.
Anything else risks missing blocks of posts.

Of course there is your suggestion:
"when you press it more headers will download, 1000 each time as long
as you
did step 1st."
Uses the same bandwidth as what I said except there are more steps
involved this way.

One has to wonder why you consider bandwidth an issue one way when the
other uses the same bandwidth.
