I am using windows live 2011 as a news reader, how can I limit the number
messages that it downloads ,some newsgroups keeps getting larger every time
I click on them. Thanks

Click on the unlabeled button to the left of the Home tab, then Options, Mail, Read, select "Get 300 headers at a time". Change
that 300 number to whatever you want.

Once you've adjusted the number of messages to be downloaded with each
access and downloaded what you feel is necessary....if no further older
messages are necessary....
- rt. click the newsgoup(in left hand pane), scroll and select 'Catch Up'
