Anyone know when the next Beta build might be out?

No, no date has been released for publication, nor have I seen any reliable speculation.

Don't get your hopes up. Microsoft doesn't seem interested in fixing
problems related to newsgroups. :-(

It's possible that Usenet will die a natural death anyway apart from
some of the more recherché technical groups - the current "generation"
seem to be quite happy with web-based forums...
