Is this ng still going?

Nothing for several days -- is it my provider, is the ng dead, or are we
just all taking a break?

could well be that some news-servers abandon the group.
My current newsserver (see the headers) news.eternal-september.org
still hosts the group.

It's not a high volume newsgroup with messages only showing up in spurts
and rarely more than a few at a time.
