Just a note that there may be a weird bug related to removing the icon.
On mine, and other computers from posts I've read, turning it off vcan
cause the taskbar to occasionally blink on for a split second. Even with
the icon, mine does it a little, but without the icon, it does it very
often and was very annoying.
You may not notice the change until after a reboot.
