NIS 2003 compatibility with SP2

Hi: I was wondering if any of you have the beta version of
SP2 and are running it with NIS/NAV 2003? I don't want to
upgrade to the NIS/NAV 2004 platform yet, and wanted to know
if SP2 will work with the version I have listed above (2003).

Symantec has a compatibility scan for SP2, and when I run it,
it tells me that my product is up to date on all defs, etc.
but suggests upgrading to the 2004 version. Is this just a
sales ploy on their part, or do you have to have their 2004
version for SP2 to work?

Since some of you have the beta version and possibly the new
release of SP2, I thought you might have an answer to this.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Pam

Hi

NIS/NAV 2003 works fine with WinXP SP2, and I think Symantec
is in the process to update e.g. NAV 2003 so it can "talk"
to SP2's Security Center.

Thanks again Torgeir for your excellent info, it seems I can
always count on you (I've done so many times) and most of the
other MVP's, as well as the regulars who are knowledgeable.
