I have 2 Win2k3 Enterprise servers in a cluster. NLB manager shows both
NIC's are converged. Both servers have 2 NICs, one admin and one NLB. NLB
NIC's are clusetered in unicast mode. I can not ping the other server or
vice versa on the IP of the NLB NIC. Plus the application will only use one
server, never load balances. NICs are plugged into seperate Cisco 2970
switches. The NICs do show the LAA as having the same MAC address as they
are supposed to. What could be the issue? Do the ports need the arp cache
cleared or something?

That is expected behavior. It is why you should have the second network for
management of the nodes.

Are they in the same network segment? It appears that they are working if
they are converged.

What app are you running, how are you testing it the load balancing? Also,
did you Class C for your affinity or is it set to none or single IP?
