I have windows Vista Home Premium that came installed in my computer. My
Vista is not an ugrade and I am having the same "windows is not genuine"
problem. I have access to nothing but the internet! No access to my start
button or anything else. My computer screen is completely black except for
the "windows is not genuine" window that pops up, which allows me to get on
the internet. Someone please help me!!!!!!!

Either Winkey + R or through Task Manager:
Run explorer.

I am not as knowledgeable about computers as I thought.....LOL....could you
please tell me where to go to do these things? All I have is my bars at the
top of my internet page. I have no toolbar at the bottom or anything else
for that matter. I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

are you in conditions to download and install / run any program with
that internet acess?
If so, try tune up utilities 2008. Theres a windows repair for all that
matter in this program.
Your copy is not genuine, thats so all its blocked, reenstall the OS
again, when asked for serial say no, for activation say no, like this
you get more 30 days. Meanwhile you will get the the genuine activation
with some single steps

Cheers!

Find a external USB HDD, from a friend, or buy one, recover your data
using Hirenīs Boot CD, format your drive and proceed for a clean
install.

Since it can preinstalled from the computer manufacturer, have you tried
contacting them for support? They probably have a toll free phone number.

hi,
Let me see how to help you...
All posts are fine. Have you done all we said?
If you press ctrl+Alt+Del keys (at the same time) pops up a window that
let you go to the Task Mananger (usualy its at the bottom end of several
lines of options), yes or no?
Yes - Start the service Explorer.exe (its a manual search, that
explorer.exe its located at c:\Windows\ abouts.) Got it? Yes or No?
No - Vista its bloqued, only alows internet acess precisely for you
activate your original copy of Vista, usually by phone.
They ask for the serial that comes in the special stamp, prove of
purchase, and with that, they tell you a group of number for you to type
by the order they say at the place they indicate to.
They now if the serial its right and can not be other but the one that
your Vista as incoded inside im self. They will ask you for your product
ID. Its found at the bottom of the window that pops up when you right
click over My computer Icon and chose Properties.
If you got that pc second or first hand, with Vista and thats
happening, that Vista its pirated, and who sold you that, its
responsable for cheating you, on the other hand you got a fake system,
and you canīt defend yourself, may you be envolved to accept that
conditions, its like beying a cumplice with the same responsability
degree.
Some clever have done you.
Do you have the Dvd with Vista? Do you know some friend that has? Use
it to fresh install Vista and when youīre asked to activate, register or
give a serial number of that copy, say no to everything and you will get
all working for more 30 days.
Its plenty of time for you genuinize Vista.
Sounds o.k. that you had Vista for the last 30 days, wich it indicates
that you did not had much of crucial data installed to worry about
recovering it from the disk.
If its so much important, you can get the disk to be copied at a
especialized computer house, it costs a lot, consider if its worth it.
How much cost you to buy one original Dvd of Vista there? Getīs you
hassle free having it as yours so that youīre free to use it how often
you wish.
Iīve formatted a lot of pcīs just like yours, same situation, had iīve
gone trhu the same experince personaly and tryed like you to work
around, so i understand very well your position.
You donīt have much a joice, but to install Vista again.
Winkey its beside Alt key, usually has got the simbol of microsoft.
Like Bob said, Winkey+R pressed during system startting up until pops
out the Task Mananger window for you to acess and activate explorer.exe
wich should give you back the desktop interface, in normal situations.
Feel free to let us know whatīs the situation now.

Cheers!

Hi, if you got the pc from a shop, you got all legedit, well we have 30
days to register ower copy, when that time expires, the system enters in
that state, thus letting you acess the internet to contact the support
team and activate all back again, thus registering your details like
name, adress, contact, etc.

Cheers!
