The menu option for Activities->Application Sharing is not available in Vista
RC1. It is available and working under XP. Is there a way to get this
useful feature working in Vista?

I would guess that this is because app sharring uses NETMEETING actually
that is built in XP
(it can be started if to go to Start> run and type conf.

But I suspect its not on vista...

you can try finding the download of netmeeting 3.1 and installing it on
vista to see if it works

by the way Vista RC2 was released to the public today

Greetings,

You can install Netmeeting on Vista, but the App Sharing feature in Netmeeting when run on
Vista is viewer only -- meaning no ability to share your own apps/desktop.

However as for the original question, I've not had time to attempt to backport this feature
yet but even if it can be coaxed to work, would be viewer only like above.
